Chlamydia—named after the bacterium that causes it, Chlamydia trachoma is-spreads when body fluids are passed through sexual intercourse-vaginal, anal or oral. An infected mother can also pass it on to her newborn dugong vaginal childbirth. It may infect the urethra and rectum in both sexes, and the cervix in women. It can also affect other part of the body including the throat, eyes, lungs and liver.

Signs& symptoms:
-Discharge from penis or vagina.
-Pain or burning during urination.
-Pain and discharge from the rectum if Chlamydia was caught during anal sex.
-Mucosal inflammation of the genital tract, throat or rectum.
-Neonatal eye infection.
-Pneumonia.
Treatment:
Chlamydia can be cured with a short course of antibiotics. And don’t have sex until the treatment has finished. Adhere to your doctor’s advice.

If not treated:
Chlamydia can spread and cause damage to your reproductive organs, thus preventing you from being able to have children. Here are some warning signs of that damage:
-Males can have continued penile discharge, pain and swelling in the testacies and fewer.
- Females can get an infection that leads to PID.

Cholesterol

The Cholesterol Factor: Cholesterol is a major contributing rish factor if CVD. When a person has unusually high LDL( Low –Density lipoprotein cholesterol or bad cholesterol, a build-up of plague taken place, causing the artery walls to narrow- this process is known as atherosclerosis.

Atherosclerosis should received serious attention as it is a=one if the main cause if the CVD. The process if atherosclerosis may be gradual, but if left untreated, it will eventually prevent blood from following to vital organ s, such as the heart and brain, depriving them of oxygen and vital nutrients. This ultimately leads to a heart attack or stroke.

High Cholesterol is becoming increasingly prevalent in Malaysia due to a combination if sedentary lifestyles and high cholesterol diets. By having your cholesterol level monitored regularly and taking the necessary measures if it is high, you can protect yourself against an increased risk of heart failure, heart attack or stroke.

The ideal cholesterol level varies and is highly dependent on your risk-factor profile. The general rules is, if you have more than one high risk factor, such as diabetes or high blood pressure, you need t o be more vigilant about managing your cholesterol.

3) Needle sharing i drug abuse.

4) Mother to infact.

5) Poor sterility during tattooing or body piercing.

6) Sexual Contact with an infected person ( Hepatitis B only).
